On 8/16/2016 the Mount Pleasant responded to Wal-Mart in Oakland Market in reference to a female shoplifting several items from the store. The above subject was able to leave the store on foot before loss prevention could apprehend her.

Both Myers and the juvenile were taken into custody without incident. Additional charges are pending with an updated press release to follow
