Law Enforcement United Road to Hope

 
 
Mount Pleasant, SC – Team Lowcountry is conducting their final Law Enforcement United bicycle training ride on May 6, 2018 beginning 4:00 p.m. at Belks located at 1218 Belk Drive. This training session is open to the public and will offer media outlets the ability to gather footage as this will be the final time the entire team will be together before the event.
 
Law Enforcement United is a group of law enforcement officers, survivors, and civilian supporters whose mission is to honor fallen officers and remember the survivors.  
 
A send-off ceremony is set for May 8, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at the Mount Pleasant Police Department located at 100 Ann Edwards Lane. Team Lowcountry is representing seven fallen officers from South Carolina as they ride from Chesapeake, Virginia to Washington, D.C.  in the Law Enforcement United Road to Hope bicycle tour. This 250-mile ride takes place over three days in which police officers will be honored at each stop along the way. The Road to Hope bicycle tour marks the beginning of National Police Week which runs from May 13 to May 19, 2018. To learn more, visit www.leunited.org.
