Armed Robbery and Attempted Murder
Update:
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a dark hoodie and he had a red bandana on his face.
Mount Pleasant, SC – On April 4, 2018, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to 100 Church Street in reference to a shooting. Officers found the victim inside the building with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital.
The suspect entered the Tavern and Table where he demanded
money. During the robbery, the suspect fired his weapon striking the victim
before leaving the scene with an undetermined amount of money. The suspect has
only been described as a male. Detectives are still in the early stages of this
investigation but more information will be released as it becomes available.
