National Night Out 2016 Press Release
Mount Pleasant, SC – On August 2th, 2016 join
over 37 million people in 16,124 communities to celebrate America’s National
Night Out Against Crime.
“This year we are consolidating our resources into one
location,” said Inspector Chip Googe. “The event will be in the Target parking
lot from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We encourage everyone to stop by and meet some
of the officers that patrol their community. ”
We will have numerous bureaus on display such as our K9 Officers,
Bike Team, SWAT, and Patrol Units. The Mount Pleasant Fire Department will also
be on hand with their smoke house that can be used to teach lifesaving skills. Consolidated
Dispatch will be have a booth set up to talk about Smart911 . There will be a
bicycle raffle, snow cones, a jump castle, dunk tank, pizza, and more!
