Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested

Mount Pleasant, SC – On April 26, 2016, at approximately 5 p.m., Kyle Edward Templeton was arrested in connection with the April 22nd bank robbery that occurred at the CresCom Bank, 1492 Stuart Engals Blvd. Templeton was arrested by troopers of the Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop K, during their investigation of a vehicle collision that occurred at a rest stop off I-10. Upon his return to South Carolina, Templeton will be charged with Entering a Bank with the Intent to Steal. Templeton also faces criminal charges in Mississippi. Templeton is currently lodged at the Hancock County Detention Center in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
