On August 4th, 2015 join over 37 million people
in 16,124 communities to celebrate America’s National Night Out Against Crime.
“Officers will be set up in two locations this year. One at Edwards
Park on Bank Street and one at the White Hall Community Center off Tower Road,”
said Inspector Chip Googe. “The event will last from 6:00pm to 9:00pm ending
with a walk through each of the respective neighborhoods.”
We will have numerous bureaus on display such as our K9 officers,
Bike Team and Patrol Units. The Mount Pleasant Fire Department will also have
their fire trucks on display. There will be K-9 demonstrations, bicycle raffles,
snow cones, a jump castle, pizza and drinks! Fingerprinting will also be
available from New York Life Insurance. The last hour of the event we will be
walking through each of the respective neighborhoods to show how our
communities and the Mount Pleasant Police Department are standing together to
fight against crime.
