                𝕊𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕓𝕒𝕘 𝔻𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕣𝕚𝕓𝕦𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟      In preparation for this week's potential weather impacts, the Town of Mount Pleasant will open two self-service sandbag locations at noon, Tuesday August 29. Sand and sandbags will be available for residents to fill on a first come/first serve basis at the following locations: Cheryll Woods-Flowers Soccer Complex 85 Patriots Point Blvd. Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 Park West Recreation Complex 1251 Park West Blvd. Mount Pleasant, SC 29466 Additional information: • Sand and bags will be supplied. • Residents should bring their own shovels. • Bags do not/should not be filled - they only need to be ½ full • Limit 10 bags per household

Both Myers and the juvenile were taken into custody without incident. Additional charges are pending with an updated press release to follow
