One of our School Resource Officers, Cpl. Bill Dorfner, was able to set up an area to meet children from Belle Hall Elementary at their career fair this morning. All of the kids were excited and asked thoughtful questions about our job. Thank you to Belle Hall for inviting us!  

 Come join the fun individually or as a team of friends, family, or co-workers! Everyone who participates in the plunge ($50 donation minimum) earns a commemorative Plunge T-shirt, tickets for free food and drinks, and a chance to win door prizes. Other gifts awarded as well, based on the amount of your donation or the money you raise.  Plunge party includes fun for all ages, plungers and spectators alike - including food, music, games and door prizes. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics South Carolina. Phone scams are still an issue and we need your help to spread the word! If you are called and asked to send several thousand dollars to anyone in return for the release of millions of dollars to you, it is a SCAM. Please do not send any money to these individuals! In our latest scam the victim was also given a phony telephone number to Homeland Security to verify. This number was set up by the scammer in an attempt to get the victim to let their guard down. If you receive a telephone call like this, please let us know so that we can investigate it BEFORE you send any money.   

Last week we partnered with Chick-fil-A of North Mount Pleasant for our Coffee with a Cop outreach program. This event drew our largest crowd since the inception of the program.
