Mount Pleasant Police Recognizes Employees

The Mount Pleasant Police Department recognized the hard work and dedication of their employees today at an awards luncheon held at headquarters. Chief Ritchie and his command staff presented the following awards:

Supervisor of the Year - Sgt. Les Mauldin
Innovator of the Year - Inspector Chip Googe
Officer of the Year - Pfc. Bradley Strode
Investigator of the Year - Det. Logan Fey
Civilian of the Year - Renice Williams
Rookie of the Year - Pfc. Patrick Crosson

The Mount Pleasant Fire Department also honored Pfc. Jonathan Rustin with the Life Saving award for his actions at the Christmas parade. Pfc. Rustin was alerted to a toddler who was choking and he took quick action to dislodge the piece of candy blocking her airway.

We want to congratulate all of the employees on their awards and thank them for their service to the citizens of Mount Pleasant!
