Identification Needed






The Mount Pleasant Police Department is seeking the public's help to identify the man shown in the videos above. On July 25, 2017 at approximately 10:00 p.m., the suspect was observed looking into a bedroom window of an occupied apartment on Belle Pointe Drive. He is described as a white male, approximately 5'9" to 5'11" in height, and is believed to be approximately in his late 30's to early 40's.

Request for Information




The Mount Pleasant Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying an individual involved in an assault that occurred after the Luke Combs/John Langston concert.  The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 p.m. on July 1, 2017 in the College of Charleston Tennis Center parking lot.  The suspect is described as a white male who is approximately 18-24 years old. He is approximately 5’08” to 5’11” in height and weighs approximately 190lbs. The suspect assaulted the victim then left the area in a full size Sport Utility Vehicle.

National Night Out



On August 1st, 2017 join over 37 million people in 16,124 communities to celebrate America’s National Night Out Against Crime.
“We encourage the community to come out and meet the officers who patrol their neighborhoods,” said Inspector Chip Googe. “The event will be in the Target parking lot from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.”
We will have numerous bureaus on display such as our K9 Officers, Bike Team, SWAT, and Patrol Units. Consolidated Dispatch will be have a booth set up to talk about Smart911. There will be a dunk tank, pizza, music, and more!

Armed Robbery



Mount PleasantSC – On July 11, 2017, at approximately 9:10 a.m., officers from the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to 1021 Anna Knapp Boulevard (TD Bank) in reference to an armed robbery. Two black individuals entered the bank with handguns and demanded money from the tellers. One suspect was described as wearing a red hooded sweat shirt, sunglasses, and a grey or black bandana with a designed pattern. The second suspect was described as wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, black pants, sunglasses, and a black bandana. Both suspects are approximately 25 to 30 years old and stood approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall.
