MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (October 15, 2014) The Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to a hit and run on October 14, 2014 where a dark in color sports utility vehicle struck a 17 year old teenager who was riding his skateboard. The vehicle continued down Highway 41 towards Highway 17 without stopping at the scene of the collision.
The suspect vehicle was coming from the Berkeley County area on Highway 41 when the vehicle collided with the victim who was crossing the roadway from Rivertowne towards Dunes West. The victim was transported to the hospital due to his injuries. This occurred around 8:24pm.
