On March 11, 2018 the Mount Pleasant Police Department observed a Facebook post regarding the theft of muffins from a lemonade stand on Rifle Range Road near Quail Hollow. After reaching out to the complainant, the Investigations Bureau began looking into the theft. The investigation revealed the suspects were 13 and 14 years of age. At the direction of the victim’s family, no charges were filed but arrangements were coordinated for restitution.
