December 12, 2017 Update - Taylor has been located and is safe!

On December 10, 2017 13 year old Taylor Planty was reported as a runaway by her mother. Taylor was supposed to attend the Mount Pleasant Christmas Parade but she did not return home. Taylor is a white female and was last seen wearing grey leggings, black boots, a pink Nash Orthodontics shirt, and a peach colored sweater. Taylor may be heading to the Camden, SC area.

Runaway

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating Benjamin S. McFarland. He was last seen leaving his home in Charleston National wearing the same clothes he is wearing in the picture above. A note was left stating that he was going towards the "upstate through Columbia". Benjamin is described as 5'06" tall and weighing 230lbs. He has brown eyes, brown hair, and sometimes wears black rimmed glasses.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating runaways Vance Powers and Avery Lites. Avery Lites was last seen at his home on 11/13/2016 at 1:00 a.m. He was last seen wearing dark colored shorts and a t-shirt Mr. Lites is described as being 5' 8" tall and weighing 125lbs. He is 15 years old and has short blonde hair.

Vance Powers was also last seen on 11/13/2016 between 1:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. at his home. Mr. Powers was last seen wearing dark khaki pants and green Air Force boots. He is described as being 5' 8" tall, weighing 120lbs, and has brown hair. He is 16 years old.

Mr. Powers and Mr. Lites are possibly together and maybe in the vehicle shown above. It is a 2008 Ford Expedition with SC tag EIU 324. No foul play is suspected at this time. If anyone has any information, please contact Detective Ivey at 843-884-4176 or at divey@tompsc.com.
