Press Release - Labor Camp Road Homicide

Mount Pleasant, S.C. - On May 6, 2021, at approximately 4:36 p.m., the Mount Pleasant Police Department responded to the 1700 block of Labor Camp Road to check the welfare of a resident and subsequently located a deceased person. It was discovered that Demetrius “MeMe” Woodard was the victim of a homicide. The Mount Pleasant Police Department is offering a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for Mr. Woodard’s death.
