Our Community, Our Children



A community discussion promoting Awareness, Education, and Recovery is March 9th! 

This first annual event, hosted by WakeUp Carolina and the town of Mount Pleasant, will discuss head-on several shied-away issues facing today's youth. Field experts will provide critical information on the topics of Human Trafficking, Child Sexual Abuse, Opioid/Substance Misuse (including vaping) and Mental Health/Teen Suicide (including bullying). 

The public is invited to submit questions via a private questionnaire during registration. Panel experts will address some of the questions at the end of their sessions. Tickets available for Session 1 and Session 2. 

Session 1: (9:00am - 11:30am) 
Section 1-Human Trafficking
Section 2- Child Sexual Abuse 

Session 2: (12:15pm - 2:40pm) 
Section 1- Opioid/Substance Misuse, 
Section 2- Mental Health / Teen Suicide.

Mr. Johnson is wanted for Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Contempt of Court. He is known to frequent the Whitehall Community.
